CCPOMA MEETINGS
The Cape Cod Property Owners and Managers Association, Inc. holds its meetings on the last Monday of every month at the Ardeo Restaurant in South Yarmouth.
The Restaurant is located at Union Station Plaza, 23V White Path, South Yarmouth, tel. 508 760-1500.
Take Exit 8, head south from Route 6, and turn left at the first light.
The Meetings start at around 7 P.M. and last till between 8:30 P.M. to 9 P.M. There is also a small buffet table at the start of each meeting.
We have an annual dinner at the Ardeo Restaurant sponsored by CCPOMA, usually around the middle of June.
Please note that there are NO meetings July, August and December.
The speaker will be Paul Jenney of First Advantage Safe Rent, a wholly owned subsidiary of First Advantage Corporation, a provider of screening and risk management services.
Proper screening that complies with the Fair Housing Laws can eliminate a large part of the problems of being a landlord.
When Paul's mother and father were landlords in the Springfield area in 1982 they discovered the need for proper screening and were innovators in checking court records for evictions. Paul has 20 years experience in the screening industry, and we were first introduced to him 13 years ago by the Massachusetts rental housing Association (MHRA).
